Got billy in a Yankee but the horse which won today was slammed by melodic rendezvous in the tolworth

Yeh and Billy slammed the close up 2nd.
PB and MR are 2 real good horses that imo will both be huge players at the festival. |

What do you think today did for MTOY's form Budd? I can't make my mind up about that one - something niggling me that he's a strong traveller but doesn't battle that well. Habit of losing as well

Hard to say mate when these horses win so well on the bridle.
I aint backed MTOY but if i had i would not be that bothered about today to be honest. As per normal we wont know much till they race each other. |

MTOY according to connections is a different horse this season. He was quite weak in finishing his races in his NHF races last season, but has looked far from weak when seeing off Taquin Du Seuil, a horse in which has gone on to win a G2 and G1.
I think puffin billy and MTOY will have a large part to play in the finish of the supreme. |

Sorry Tory i meant to answer your doubts.
I dont know . Hes one i cant figure out,he was pretty average behind his stablemate, and then p!ssed up next time.Gut feeling is theres better than him this year, but i could well be wrong. |

Is Puffin Billy heading back to the Supreme then? he seemed more likely to go for the Neptune according to the trainer last month.

Cheers Budd. This is a really tricky race this year yr. was lasy yr as well but because they were, in my opinion at the time, an average bunch. Darlan (RIP) was probably far better than i ever gave him credit for. This year is tricky because of the sheer quality on show.

Puffin Billy is as as impressive as I have seen. If Geraghty rides then he is a tremendous bet in either race. Aspell is the back up I presume.

from reading the paper today were the trainer says he is more of a stayer it looks like it will have to be pretty soft for him to run in the supreme
