9 yr olds dont run in the arkle very often.
Especially ones as good as this one.
Rip the stat up,worthless.

Overturn is a 9yo. The only 9yo yo win this race was the triple CH winner Sir Ken, I believe. But how many 9yo have contested the race?
I don't know but looking to see if this stat holds water or have very few contested the race.

The best horse on the day wins. You don't need stats.

imagine Moscow Flyer taking up chasing a year later, would he have won the Arkle aged 9? considering he won the QM at 9??
maybe Overturn will win the Arkle aged 9,and the QM aged 10!!!!

Actually think he would be an interesting runner in the QM this yearShocked

Race of the week this lad will make the Sig go some thats for sure, and has enough potential to buck the trend but alas wont.........

He's second favourite and deserves to be. If Simonsig doesn't turn up, or doesn't deliver on the day he is the most likely winner, 9yo or not. He could get Simonsig (fast horse but no monster when it comes to jumping) at it but if they both run to their potential, there is only one winner.
