yeah a bit steep, better hope AP, Nicky Henderson and Charlie Swan are more honest about their Cheltenham tips than Davey Russell who put everyone away the year Tiger Cry won!
By:
Henderson made the price request to lessen the chance of any ruffians turning up
By:
He obviously doesn't know the Glasgow crowd that well then because it's the ruffians who have large disposable incomes!!
By:
Exactly Gordon63. It's your shifty taggart types who will turn up with their shiney shoes and lack of knowledge at that price. Henderson will stroll in none the wiser, thinking he could meet some Jolly new chums. By the end of the night he will be adding 'plugger', 'razor' and 'smiler' to his mobile phone contact list.

Give me a loan of 100 quid and i'll tell you
By:
says it all!! i was actually thinking of going, but working away that week, so if any of you chaps do decide to pop along a quick summary on here afterwards would be very welcome and if it includes some winning tips then we can talk about that 100 quid again!

There you go Ballydoyle. Gordon has kindly offered you to be his cannon fodder. Go, and if it's any good he will give you some money, and if it's pish you're onto plums !

Guys this will be more of a sit down meal/speakers night/charity auction. It's for a great cause and I might go myself but if your looking for a real punters Cheltenham Preview Night you need to check out mine
on Friday the 8th of March this will be our 6th year. Hosted by Gordon Brown Panel: Fergal O'Brien (trainer) Mark Howard (RUK, One Jump Ahead) Ian Robinson (co-owner Imperial Commander) Ian Taylor (Garry Owen of the Daily Record) Trevor Harris (Antepost expert Star Sports) |
By:
It's in Hamilton at the Almada Suite in the Council Buildings, it will be sponsored by Star Sports who will on a free £25 match bet to all attendees.
The entry is £12 in advance and £15 on the night. Last year IanRobinson told the everybody that Alfie Sherrin was 'the best handicapped horse' in the Jonjo yard', David Pipe made no bones about the fact he 'would be very disappointed' if Salute Flo didn't win ( that was David's 4th winning nap in the last 5 year of doing phone interviews for us). David will be doing another phone interview and will be joined by top stars from both side of the Irish Sea. If you want more info or to book tickets you can give me a call on 07877618120 or email lanzaroteabbott@yahoo.co.uk |
