Glad I took the 10/1 on him for the festival!! Anyone know how the race will affect his weight for the festival?

I would not be worried about the weight given trainers record in the race

The race is typically decided by a sprint finish at the end, so weight isn't usually a critical factor.

Just thought Outlaw Pete beat him easily at Punchestown, had a sighter round Cheltenham in November then did the business when handicapped in November and looked like a horse to follow over Cross Country fences.

I'd have rathered that Arabella Boy and Uncle Junior stayed on their hooves in December so I'd have a clearer idea as to what the real form is in this race. I've narrowed down the potential winners to about 4, but Chicago Grey is interesting me.

I have not had a bet on this race yet, and won't until nearer the time. However I'm a lot more keen on Balthazar King for this race out of anyone. Proven course form and yes it was dissapointing he lost to uncle junior in the bog of a cross country race back in December, but he will improve again for better ground and be primed for a title defence come March.
