Bought another novice hurdler apparently - Pendra.

How many he got now??

Somewhere between 6 and 10 to be scattered amongst the Nov Hurles in March.

Potentially very good - not sure JP had a Neptune horse although no doubt he will now get a load of handicap entries as well

yeh i liked his run lto and have backed him for the Neptune,so hoping thats where he goes, also got a bit for supreme, but dont really expect to see him in that race.

Another donkey alongside Jezki...he has a lot of dross animals for me. bit different from the Coolmore operation

Zero chance in Neptune. Absolutely none.

Pendra probably has the three choices - Neptune/Coral Cup/Martin Pipe. The other one who will need juggling is At Fishers Cross. He will probably have the same options but has already proven himself over longer trips. Puzzle not made any easier with Cloudy Copper looking like a possible mount for AP in the Albert Bartlett.

is there really a need to explain why Pendra has zero chance in the Neptune? As for Jezki he'll be panting for breath going round the turn whilst others are on the steel. There's only one play in the Supreme and that is lay him. All day long. Swept away in Champion Bumper, has beaten very little over hurdles, and will be up against flat breds. 4/1?Laugh

Not much, just speculative at big odds.
I often look at horses i think have run well that imo could be value come March.
It has paid off at times, especially with young up and coming novice hurdlers.
I thought his run at Sandown was a good one and he should improve for that, how much i have no idea, but hes interesting imo,and i know the trainer thinks a lot of him, apparently so does JP.
I dont expect him to win,but if he lines up it means hes a chance and almost certainly will be shorter than what i took.

I dont take offence on here Bally, well try not to!!

No problem man..and you know me, i like to have a wee wind-up....it's gonna be a handicap job I think like a lot of JPs

I am on The New One ew at 16s immediately before Warwick but I am not confident. He is 9/2 now which is too short because if he jumps like he did at Warwick he ain't getting round.

im also on the new one at 16,s, and im of the same opinion, id like to see TNO  maybe drop back in trip for his prep, say a sharp 2 miles jumping at pace as we know he gets the neptune trip well, but needs to improove his jumping
