Im not a big fan of horses winning back to back Champion Hurdle races which is a very tough ask... but I see this horse as a underdog with a lot of tenacity and has the ability to achieve this feat... he beat Hurricane so easily yet he is 10/1 and the other 4s, and there is no way Hurricane will beat him in March.  But I am a massive fan of this horse considering he ran on ground that didnt suit he wasnt expected to beat Zarkandar but put a respectable performance.  I think this horse will improve massively and the trainer is up and coming and states that this horse has strengthened up for his defense of the Champion hurdle.

I think its price is reflective of the trainer, but Fry has some real decent horses that have been winning and a great strike rate.  I trust this connection to get it right for the big day and have ROCK ON RUBY hosing up for the race in decisive fashion and an advert for their yard.

Snap up the 10/1 decent bet wont be out of top 3.

The Fly beat Oscar whiskey and Peddlars Cross in what I consider to be a poor renewal of the race, they are very good horses but not world beaters.  The fly is the best irish horse but I think Rock On Ruby, Zarkandar and Granduoet are a lot better are a lot better, even the likes of Countryside flame and Grumeti would give the fly a run.  I think the reason why Overturn was in front of him was because Overturn took it from the front and injected a lot of pace, exposed the horse a fair bit... suited Rock On Ruby though...

Tried to put this on this afternoon as a little saver to my main CH bets, but their market has been suspended for almost all of the afternoon, so can't put it on Sad

The time to lay Hurricane Run is after he lags up in another poor renewal of the Irish Champion Hurdle against handicappers and 3 milers on heavy ground on Sunday.
