Suggestions?

It will certainly not be SS.
Williams Wishes and Sanctuire both blue on oddchecker just now.
I think he may just tip Cue Card. Taken Vic 14s nrns, just in caseCool

On the SDC thread, someone said that the bookies cut two horses because Last Instalment was pulled out(the outsider). Now they are cutting another two in anticipation, which is proof that they guess what's coming down to corrupt the odds. It was nothing to do with Last Instalment. By the way, nothing is great value as things stand. If SS turns up, he wins. If he doesen't turn up, then Cue Card, Finians Rainbow and Sizing Europe could turn up.

To say they are guessing is naive imo. They know.

They may well shorten up horses to give the impression that's the choice, with a view to balancing the books and to attract bets that would not otherwise be struck.

They are corrupting the odds whatever their game is. Either way, the Champ Chase isn't a market for the smarties at the RP for reasons stated above.

Agree completely. Feel a little sorry for TS on these occasions - having to find a horse he knows won't beat SS

he is obliged  by the paper to put something up at a decent price even though he knows it has not got much chance of winning .its not really his type of  race, with the shape of the champion chase sprinter short priced fav and very likley winner .  whatever he puts up is likely to drift anyway as sprinter has what looks a penalty kick in the vic chandler he will be 2s on come the festival.

think he'll put up Sanctuaire, he looks the obvious horse to place behind Sprinter Sacre. Everything at a price looks to have no chance. I'd be interested to see a book compiled without SS. I think that's how I will play the Qm on the day.

Awful pick but Graeme83 made to look like a pillock again in these threads for the second week running calling all the layers listed on oddschecker as guessers. Give it up next week lad

Ahhh, so it was idiot child Flemenstar who thought SDC and FL were cut for the gold cup because Last Instalment was rules out in January Happy

Evan Williams, on ATR today, seemed to think William Wishes had no chance in QM. That said it sounded that where he will be headed and given that the race will likely cut up then 25/1 ew might prove an OK bet for the place part and hope for unfortunate happenings for the win part.

Not for me though.

I can see where Tom is coming from. Unbeaten in 5 chases and only once been out the 1st 3. But I'm unbeaten against my 3yo son. Does not mean I could give Usain a raceCool

Your form with your son gives you more chance of beating Usain than that has of beating SS......Excited

Evan Williams is right . It doesn't have a chance. Terrible pick alongside Cotton Mill and Flemenstar. More for the sheep to saviour

Another pricewise selection injured before the race, hope his followers will learn soon...
Might still make the race thoughand beat the very ordinary looking SS, well it might get to the start line before it anyway.....
