although far west has looked a total tool imho he can still be backed at tens.
its a race which recently the main contenders havent shown their hand[or hooves]until january,in fact some have not seen englands green fields until xmas has finished..
i notice that another nicholls horse has been backed in the last week[lac fontana].does anyone know much about this horse?
also im certain henderson will have acquired a horse or two over xmas for this race..
any thoughts?

Agreed. I'm on at 10s (only Festival bet at this stage) and this stop-start season is playing into his hands hopefully. On my ratings he's not invincible, but has shown a level of form slightly higher than the leading contenders usually have done at this time of year. If he runs in & wins the race on trials day he'll no doubt halve in price. Segal likes Blood Cotil, but I'm not sure he's achieved much so far. The Finale was a fair renewal, but even allowing Swnyford a 5l win leaves him with a bit to find with FC on my ratings. A soft ground Festival would help FC imo.
Not sure where "FC" comes from, should read "FW". Brains addled after watching the Ping Pong tonight (Chris Doran is a bit of a local hero).
i think fw will make an excellent arkle horse next year,very athletic
hard race every chance the winner not been out yet a la zarkanda 2 years ago, didnt run till feb. herd something the other day that nicholls has one that they think plenty of,its running at the end of the month
Lac Fontana was Clifford Bakers dark horse on The Morning Line says will run end of Jan then hopefully off to the triumph if it jumps
Same said about Dildar last year....go with the proven horses....Far West got be a good value bet (well mine is at 22pts on here anyway!!!)
