I managed to lay half my stake off for the Arkle this week luckily, looks very much like Henderson is aiming him at the Jewson

Well Simonsig has to get to Cheltenham but if he does, then the Jewson does seem to beckon for CC. Owners can insist that he runs in the Arkle of course but hendo will probably tell them they're wasting their time and in any event, BJG will ride Simonsig.
Have to say this always looked a likely outcome with the normal caveats. |

I know it's highly likely he'll go the Jewson route.
Clearly very highly thought of in the yard and if they didn't have Simonsig then they'd go Arkle route no question - that's why it's the right race for him imo. Owner shouldn't be scared of one horse. |

got to be the jewson imo he hasnt got the toe that simonsig has for arkle and at 5s i think is a good e/w bet jumps with ease this fellow
