I asked them last year and they seemed inclined to wait until new year so that all the main christmas races were out the way. Hopefully they will get on with it soon though much better than the terrible offer from VC bet

Perhaps it cost them too much money last year?

Budd, I wouldn't say the VC bet is terrible, but in the T&C's

9.  All ‘Non Runner – Free Bet’ Promo Cash that is awarded must be used on the day that the race in question is run and must be used to place a bet on a horse racing market within that 24 hour period. It will expire 24 hours after it has been credited to your account.

So if Puffin Billy doesn't run in the Neptune, you HAVE to use your PB Neptune stake on that day, or it will vanish into thin air.  Nothing wrong with that if you've got some strong fancies that day, but it is fairly limiting if the card is particularly difficult because you'd only be having a bet for the sake of it.

Do you have to use the stake up as one single?

yeh, fair enough mate, but i have a few in mind i would like to back on the Wednesday if he dont run.
Also at least i have that option, back him with any of the others as a cover bet and i dont.

Don't think it has to be a single Duffy, or used in one particular race.

If you backed Big Bucks for the World Hurdle you'll get a refund on the day of the race (by noon) as Promo Cash, which as far as I beleive can be used on any bets in that 24 hour period (not necessarily in the World Hurdle).

Yeah Budd, a bit of insurance is certainly better than none, especially when you don't have to pay a premium for it Grin

Ladbrokes went up early two years ago as there was no racing over xmas due to the snow.

@liam the lips, that would be my point. Ladbrokes may only be championship races only but it was unlimited stake.

plus they are bottom price about nearly every runner I have looked at. Each to their own though some will make it pay
