There's a whole host of owners and trainers considering their options tonight.

Could fall into Oscar Whisky's lap this one.

Getting 3m is hell of a lot easier without Big Buck's in the field.

If have to watch it again but we saw in the summer how a horse being ridden to somehow beat a monster can affect its finishing position if it fails. In the Queen Anne Excelebration almost got done for 2nd as they rode him to beat Frankel and it just didn't work. Is it possible that without BB he'd be ridden differently and could get the trip?

I don't recall any of Big Bucks World Hurdles being run at a searing gallops so I'd have to side with those who think if he didn't stay last year Oscar Whisky won't stay this year. If Grands Crus doesn't run so well in the King George wouldn't be at all surprised to see him turn up in this come March. Two years ago without Big Bucks he would have won easily as a fairly short priced fav.

Looking at the video of the last World Hurdle Oscar Whisky is a blatant non stayer and was ridden to get the trip. There was no saoring end to end gallop, which is more likely with Big Buck's not in the field. The opposition are hardly likely going to make a dawdle nothing that plays straight into OW hands

If OW goes the World Hurdle route he will get beaten so Champion Hurdle or missing Chelts altogether most likely.

Will have two more races before Festival anyway, Cheltenham New Years Day and Welsh Champion Hurdle at ffos las so will be going to Festival having had 5 races this season, one more than last season

That wont phase him,he takes his races well, and most of them are hardly races anyway.

He certainly did not stay this year so dont see how he can stay next year, unless those that say he werent right on the day are correct. But then he won at Aintree well enough not long after.

I think he should run in the CH,especially if its soft going, and if its good ground and they dont think he can possibly win, then skip the festival imo.
