I have been going to the festival many years now but at the prices for club (65 or 70 on the day) surely its just better to buy them off touts nowadays is it not?

They go on about the early discount but it doesn't save you much, should at least knock a tenner off

Just noticed on the Cheltenham website that it's £75 on the day
 They're deffo taking liberties now at that sort of price.Yes im going but that's getting scandalous |

would suggest down grading to tatts then - 40 quid. Wouldnt give them 75 for the club

noticed a few areas sold out for GC day I usually go for 4 days have been for years but I think this year may just do 3 days as far to many ar##holes there on gc day getting totally fed up with it.best day is the tues imo

every year we've been inca there's always been tickets available with the touts for face value or less.
know what you mean about the gold cup day idiots, hopefully the 5k lower attendance will help this year |

I once had the unfortunate situation of trying to get a very last minute ticket for the Tuesday. Not one tout I found had a Tatts ticket so I had to settle for Best Mate. I should have gone Club. Moreover, I should have just bought in advance. You save a 5er maximum. Just buy in advance and it's one less thing on your mind!

Only been on a Tuesday and Wednesday, wasn't too busy in tatts, got a decent viewing spot on the Guinness terrace, was a bit crowded near the winning post.
Never tried sneaking into club at Cheltenham, but one year at Aintree we got tatts tickets, walked between 2 stands and ended up in an enclosure by the winning post, with a bar behind it, worked out alright. |

Used to go tats for a few years now get tats.
Didn't,t really see much difference - as crowded in both. Wouldn't even try to sneak into club |
