have just looked at the entries for next week and he isn't even entered for any race. had a look at the 2 1/2m novice chase at newbury and he's not in it. does anybody know anything about what is happenening with him?
Following week there is the Henry VIII at Sandown, but he won't have wanted to pitch into a Grade 1 first time out. Running lower and lower with options each week though. There is the race on 27th December at Kempton that Sprinter Sacre won last year, but if that was on his radar I imagine it would have been as a second run, not as a debut.

if simonsig was a year younger i think he might be tempted to keep him over hurdles. he's going to be 7 in the new year which would mean he would be 8 going for the arkle if he stayed over hurdles this season. if he is as good as connections think he is then the will really want go get him novice chasing this season. only my opinion.
