I don't blame them either.
This would have been a public schooling session anyway, so no point in risking him in heavy ground, especially if it rains again tonight. I'm sure they'll find another little race to start him off in before moving on to bigger things later on in the season. |

Disappointing and will take 5000 off the attendance tomorrow but totally understandable. Comments made on other threads this week about rain - 6mm's overnight - falling on watered ground appear totally vindicated. Looks like a gluepot. Not sure what's wrong with horses running on proper good ground anyway.

thought Claisse siad they had not watered for this meeting because of so much recent rain? Even the XC which cant be watered was soft/good-soft.

You might be right stront...I thought they had watered during the week. If wrong, I apologise to Simon Claisse and put tomorrow's defections down to God's will!
