Has been drifting for a couple of weeks. Was out to 50+ at one point. Doesn't look good.
only just noticed it, seemed to be getting back on track according to some earlier reports...
That was the last news I saw too - he was due back in January - but the Betfair market suggests things might not be on track.
LAST INSTALMENT is set to return to action next month before connections decide whether to aim him at the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup or the Ryanair Chase.
The Philip Fenton-trained seven-year-old is unbeaten in four starts over fences and is a 20-1 chance with the sponsors for the Gold Cup despite not being seen since February.
Speaking in the Racing & Football Outlook Fenton said: "I hope to have him back on the track by mid-January, the Kinloch Brae at Thurles could be his first port of call and then after that possibly the Red Mills [Chase at Gowran Park in February].
"There are some seriously good staying chasers in Ireland at the moment but he looks bang up there with them all.
"We'll know more after the Kinloch Brae and the Red Mills, but you'd like to think he'll go to Cheltenham this year. Whether it's for the Gold Cup or the Ryanair yet I'm not sure. We'll see how he gets on before we make a decision."
The Gigginstown Stud-owned Last Instalment has not run since jarring his tendons when recording a second successive Leopardstown Grade 1 victory in the Dr PJ Moriarty Chase.
