Thanks Mark Mischief

Wish I'd bl00dy read it last week. Forgot to order the book and it only came this morning, so missed 3 winners already!

If one more person calls me Mark I swear I will do someone some damage.

Plain

what prices were the winners he has given so far?
Report Can't Catch Me • October 16, 2012 12:58 PM BST
Laugh

The Honeyball bumper winner (Regal Encore) was about 5/4... think Green Flag was about the same, maybe 11/10... and he gave a positive mention to that one of Barry Connell's that won the last at Limerick. Something Padraig I think, trained by Tony Martin. It was 16/1.

Ordered the Timeform 50 to follow, another interesting read
Report Howdi • October 17, 2012 9:53 AM BST
how much is that one?
Report Workforce • October 17, 2012 2:13 PM BST
£8.95, and excellent value. Also features an Ante-post section, focus on Irish horses, as well as interview with McCain and many more features.
Report shockster • October 17, 2012 2:28 PM BST
Come on guys, sort your own picks out.  Far more satisfying when it comes off and no one else to blame.  Enjoy the read though.

Report strontium • October 17, 2012 2:39 PM BST
There must be 500 horses mentioned in the book, as well as the highlighted 40. How do you all find out when they are running? Surely it's not practical to screen the declarations every day against so many horses....
Report duffy • October 17, 2012 3:02 PM BST
get john morris's jumping prospects ffs, endless miles covered every summer up and down the motorways personally "meeting" the trainers and reading between the lines first hand....smaller trainers included too.Cool
Report Howdi • October 17, 2012 4:11 PM BST
strontiom go to gg.com

put the horses in who u want to monitor everytime they run u get an email on the morning of the race.
Report shockster • October 17, 2012 8:29 PM BST

Easyodds for me,Add your own notes as well..
Report duffy • October 19, 2012 11:07 PM BST
gruss for me...add your own notes too, no need to look out for e-mails or anything, the horse is highlighted on the race layout on your screen whenever it runs so you couldn't possibly miss it.
Report ashleigh • October 21, 2012 10:50 AM BST
spirit of shankly one of his 40 to follow runs at kempton today.
Report duffy • October 21, 2012 6:26 PM BST
After timing i know, (i did nap it in division 1 mind youGrin)but just to big up his book in john morris's jumping prospects book, when he went to see emma lavelle,LE BEC was highlighted as the stables top eyecatcher!!
Report Princesse D'Anjou • October 22, 2012 10:16 AM BST
Two or three years back his "dark horse" on RUK was a G1 winner over hurdles and fences - you don't need to be a genius to find these.

Cool criticism of the great man Shocked
Report wellchief • October 22, 2012 7:46 PM BST
Gevrey Chambertain, one of his picks, is entered at Aintree and Wincanton over hurdles at the weekend.

Entered in 2 2m hurdles and 1 2m4f one.  I'd see him in the 2m4-3m division in March and looks a quality prospect imo, but bound to be a really short price at the weekend.
Report HaylingBilly • October 23, 2012 11:31 AM BST
There is a Mark H Top 40 Double at short odds running at Exeter today if you are a disciple of MH - Melodic Rendezvous (14.40) and Rocky Creek (16.40)..... Good luck to all.
