Captain Chris ran pretty well in some good races for a horse that looked totally lacking in confidence, form, and who was campaigned monumentally badly.
If they bring him to the boil slowly and plan his races better this term, I would not be surprised to see him win some nice prizes at big prices. Don't know if he's a Grade One winner waiting to happen, but I think he could bag a few races at just under that class.

FFT - agree he's a top prospect but the trainer has said he stays over hurdles - some of us have backed him for the Champion Hurdle at 3 figure prices.

A lot of the well known ones have already been put up so I'll go for a horse even I don't know a huge amount about.
ComeOnGinger - Working much better than his p2p form would be worth. Could be interesting in novice hurdles but more of one for the future over fences given his background. Obviously well related which is a bonus

I think Overturn will run up a sequence of quick wins over fences. Flemenstar is all class and hard to oppose no matter where he runs.
One not so exposed horse to keep an eye on is Charlie Longsdon Spirit of Shankly who looks destined to go to the top.
He won a tuppence halfpenny bumper the other day but the way he carried himself and the ease in which he won was a sight to behold.
I very much expect to see him at Cheltenham come the festival.

Rondetto, after SOS's first win, Longsdon said 'The owner is from Liverpool and as he´d love a runner at Aintree that´s where we´ll go'....didnt make it last year but just poss that will be the plan again rather than Chelt.

Cheers Duncan, I've been asking about and heard he may not go hurdling this season so I guess it could be the John Smith Open? I just had a look to see what won the race last year and Spirit of Shankly was listed as a NR so I'd say u might just be spot on. Bit of Slip Anchor in the family tree so maybe they feel he'd have the advantage over most in a NH flat race
That said it's a bit of a graveyard that race and past winners have tended to vanish of the face of the earth before their time.
I hope he takes a leaf out of Nicky Henderson's book and avoid both the Cheltenham and Aintree bumpers and starts him off over hurdles as soon as.
BTW The penny never dropped that he's named after Bill Shankly till now

Cue Card after his run behind Sprinter Sacre in the arkle. Also only just got beat a head by Bobs Worth.....when this horse is right I think he is very very good and maybe on a false mark at the moment so something like the Paddy Power could be a big prize for him.
My other one is Court In Motion....had last year off and the trainer thinks his schooling over fences was electric. Another year stronger and fresh could be the forgotten horse to hit back (probably over 2m 5f, or 3m over flat tracks)

shame on you, rondetto...there's only one Shanks! yeah, Spirit of Shankly is the name of the supporters group which was set up initially to protest against the previous American owners of LFC....has kind of grown from there.

Montbazon - classy horse that will continue to improve IMO. Hollow Tree - gritty little thing who will be one to watch in handicaps if given a fair mark. Smad Place - going novice chasing I believe. Definite RSA sort. Houblon Des Obeaux - see Smad Place.

Champion Court - very smart type. I think we'll find out that getting within 4.5 lengths of Sir Des Champs in the Jewson will turn out to be very good form!

Still think Balder Succes has a lot to offer,Shame we didnt get to see just how good he was with his fall at Cheltenham and unseating at punchestown, He could be very interesting this season.
