Dunno. I thought he got away with the track last year. Think he is much better on flatter tracks, his class got him through it.

I think he's an outstanding horse, especially on a flat track and even more so on a right hander. However, he's bound to go close if he runs in the Ryanair again. It was sheer class that won it for him, plus the ride of the Festival from BG. He beat some really good horses in that race. My query would be about his target - will he go for the Gold Cup, especially if he runs well in the King George which ought to suit him? It partly depends on his stable mates (Finians etc). Plus the Ryanair is now one of the most competetive races of the week. Overall, an excellent bet at the price if you believe this is his target.

I think with RT it will depend on how he runs in the KG (likewise with FR). I think he will run in the KG and run very well (all things being equal) and suspect he will run in the CGC and run very well (all things being equal).

I am not sure about the flat track angle - to me he is a stayer (thought so and posted on here ever since his novice hurdle days) and suspect his 2 runs at Cheltenham were over the wrong trip (and maybe in the Ryanair he bounced slightly too)
