Hold fire on Monsignor money for it and apparently catching pigeons at home.
Report Cymro September 18, 2012 8:35 PM BST
I thought this was the 'Out for the Season- 2012-13'.

Not 'Out for Every Season since 2000'. Has he ever been officially retired?

Joking aside, if you look at the RSA Hurdle Monsignor won, with the startling exception of Bindaree, he didn't in retrospect beat a great deal. Gentle Rivage maybe, but he was a 50-1 shot who pitched up in 3rd.

His Festival Bumper win (@50-1 of blessed memory) wasn't great, again in retrospect, but he did beat Best Mate and Snow Drop (Triumph Winner) in the Tolworth.

Mon Parrain misses the season too. Not quite so bad as last season was hardly a success I guess.

That news about Sous Le Cieux passed me by completely. Very sad as looked a good prospect to go over fences.

RIP fella Sad
Report stevo1 October 22, 2012 10:09 AM BST

Report BJG October 24, 2012 3:47 PM BST
Dunguib ofts again Sad

Fenton said: "He's got a problem with one of his legs, it's a different leg to the one he missed last season with."

Honourable Arthur dies of a heart attack on the gallops
Report wellchief October 24, 2012 7:23 PM BST
Shame about Dunguib.

He'll be 11 at the 2014 festival - would be some performance to get him back for that, especially if going novice chasing; the oldest ever Arkle winner?  Probably one of the oldest ever Arkle runners
