I'd agree with 3. Had been opposing Kauto due to his age and thought all year that Long Run hadn't looked the same horse this season (and was even questioning how good last year's gold cup was)
Got sucked in on the day and backed him, although I did also back Synchronised without the "big 2" |

Hurdling and Jumping a fence are 2 different disciplines. As different as 5 Furlong race at Epsom and 1 mile race at Newmarket. Being able to one of them doesn't mean you can do the other.
Hendersons horses are always trying. JonJo's horses are always trying in Grade 1's, for example Albertas Run every year and the sadly departed Synchronised. Ferdy Murphy has not got a plot every year. Don't be afraid to back the stable 2nd or 3rd string in a handicap. Sometimes the Jockey booking is more important than the form shown by the horse. |

You should have already kept the results from the Festival and Aintree in a folder so you can re read them around late feburary
