SPRINTER SACRE ATR Tracker completely destroyed the opposition in the Arkle. He jumped brilliantly and settled better than he did at Newbury the time before which really pleased me. I did anchor him early to make certain he got home so you could say he was impressive from halfway when I let him stride on. It wasn’t as though he had a hard time of it so  there’s no reason not to run him at Aintree. Quite simply the most exciting horse for the future.

KELLS BELLE ATR Tracker put up a career-best effort to finish six lengths eighth to Quevega in the Mares race when they didn’t got a great pace so I sat handy. She just couldn’t quicken with them but it was a good effort and I’d say she’d appreciate three miles more than she would two and a half.

SIMONSIG ATR Tracker was probably the most impressive of my five winners when he won the Neptune as he completely slammed the opposition. He jumped and travelled and only missed the one down the back, not a mistake but just made a meal of it. That was the reason I wanted to go two and a half and not shorter. He’ll be a much smarter horse over a fence next season but he’d have the gears for two miles so Aintree over two and a half wouldn’t be any problem. I also think things would happen better for him there than up and down at Cheltenham.

BOBS WORTH ATR Tracker was a great training performance to win the RSA Chase because it was a 20lb better performance than the one he produced on his previous start at Ascot in the middle of February. He has a great attitude and he jumped brilliantly – although I never had any issue with his jumping. At Ascot he was just a little sloppy late on because he was tired and you’d forgive any horse that. Fortunately he did everything so well that I could sneak a little breather into him and he went again. He’ll be a grand ride in the Hennessy next season – the ideal race for a second season novice around a track that he really likes, Newbury.

FINIAN’S RAINBOW ATR Tracker was another fine training performance because he left his previous run at Ascot in late January well behind. With Sprinter Sacre coming along next season over two miles I’d have no worries about this horse going up to two miles five furlongs for the Ryanair.

SPIRIT RIVER ATR Tracker appreciated coming back to hurdles and was in the process of running very well in fourth when we came down at the last in the Coral Cup. He was starting to get tired but it was a good run and the old sparkle is evidently still there.

NEW YEAR’S EVE ATR Tracker ran a very solid second in the bumper and just bumped into a good horse in the winner who was able to make all and keep going. I thought we might get him with a furlong to run but he picked up again. He stays well and is very tough for a four-year-old and has a great future over hurdles next season for John Ferguson.

RIVERSIDE THEATRE ATR Tracker answered every call I made on him in the Ryanair – and there were some very loud ones. In fact, the sort of questions I asked quite often get the wrong answer from other horses! He was very tough and that was only his second run so I don’t see a problem about him turning out again at either Aintree or Punchestown. He loves good ground.

OSCAR WHISKY ATR Tracker just didn’t stay three miles at championship level in the World Hurdle – he didn’t even nearly get it. His real trip is two and a half miles and he’ll get that in the Aintree Hurdle.

BURTON PORT ATR Tracker might just have bounced in the Gold Cup even though he ran with great credit to finish eight lengths fourth. The reason I think he might have been feeling his comeback at Newbury was that he was finding it hard work for most of the way and it was his courage that kept him involved.

TANKS FOR THAT ATR Tracker couldn’t have done much more in Nicky’s dad’s race, the Grand Annual. We were just collared by a talented team in Bellvano and Paul Carberry, who produced a masterclass ride on him. It was a career-best from my lad, we were just mugged close home.

BEAR’S AFFAIR ATR Tracker headed up a fine day at Kempton on Saturday and appreciated coming back to hurdles. He goes well fresh, travelled well and didn’t do an awful lot once he got in front so there is more to come. Good ground was perfect.

MINELLA FORFITNESS ATR Tracker won the bumper like the good horse we thought he might be. One to keep on the right side next season over hurdles.

KNOCKFIERNA ATR Tracker seemed very smart winning the grade three mares chase at Limerick on Sunday, could not have won any easier. If the ground came up good at Punchestown it wouldn’t be a bother to her. She’d also get the mares allowance which would be a big help.
