With Sprinter Sacre coming along next season over two miles I’d have no worries about this horse going up to two miles five furlongs for the Ryanair.
Defending QM winner runs in Ryanair?? Not sure i would be happy with that if i were owner!! |

Maybe this is a shot across the bows by BG, letting the owners know which one he would prefer to ride. BTW, when he rode Spirit Son (also owned by Buckley, a bigger owner for the yard) in last years Supreme, was that his choice, or was pressure put on him, can anyone remember? Either way, it's a bit early for that kind of caper, with 50 weeks to go, obviously anything can happen. I reckon FR is less likely to be effective over further than SS, FR barely gets the 2m to my eyes. |
