Quiz question, I don't know if there is an answer to this but:

Who is the last horse to win three different festival races three years on the trot?

Thanks

Weapons Amnesty, Albert Bartlett, RSA, Gold Cup CryCryCryCryCry

What could've been.

I assume you're asking this as you fancy it'll happen next year? There's gotta be a pretty good chance, I'm pretty much certain that nothing that ran in the race this year will win next years renewal.

That's why i'm asking yes

It applies to the front two in the Gold Cup market - Sir Des Champs and Bob's Worth

Denman the closest I can think of, second in the RSA hurdle before winning the RSA Chase and Gold Cup

Quite a few with a second and two wins. The only one that springs to mind is Flyingbolt, who won the races that we now know as the Supreme Nov Hurdle, Arkle Chase (how ironic) and the QMCC in consecutive years.
I dunno if a Gold Cup winner has ever done it tho, so next year could see a unique achievement.

That said, Davy Lad won the equivalent of the Neptune, before finishing 2nd to Tied Cottage in the RSA equivalent and then winning the CGC the next year. So there is hope for FL fans too Devil
