trouble is you don't know which ones are 3/1 and which ones are 10/1 on any on or at the extremes until after the event - but the logic is fair

Pretty sure if you froze the market at any point from after the morning gambles onwards you would get a similar result (Rock On Ruby nota qualifier at SP but was 10/1 opening price for example)  Just don't have the data to prove it.  What I do seek to prove with it is that there is value in a particular part of the market i.e. that hotpots are overbet at the expense of the other fancied horses.  That is a useful bit of knowledge.

Knowing that blind without the age/absence filters the profit is 57.33 points is also useful - absent horses -21.5 pts, aged horses -8pts
