I don't see what people have got against The Giant Bolster at all? Young. Lightly raced. Won a grade 3 Cheltenham handicap by 17 lengths staying on strongly and running to a mark in the mid 160s in doing so. Was always possible he could move into the 170s if he stayed longer trips. I don't understand the prejudice?

I also thought Long Run was the one to beat if he reproduced last seasons form,if he jumped ok,if the jockey got it right.Too many ifs IMO. I have never thought this to be Kautos race, and I reckoned it would be an open event.Wasnt the least bit surprised to see Synchronised win it. I was surprised however the way The Giant Bolster & Time for Rupert ran

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but last year, I felt the race fell apart perfectly for Long Run in the way, the race was runn, and that Denman and Kauto were'nt exactly at their peak. Apparently, LR broke the course record that day,as he also did at Newbury, but I'm sure I read the race distances were'nt as advertised.
tbh, imo, the 3m division has been weak for 2 seasons, especially seeing as an 11yo won the 2 big early season grade 1s( certainly not knocking the horse), but nothing of any real note has come through the ranks. next season seems to be going the same way, unless the Jewson winner is top notch.
But on the other hand, the 2-2.5m division looks exiciting.

have you any idea where you saw that Twonky as it would make soooooooooooooo much sense. The going wasn't soft by any means but the times suggested fast ground?! The Betfair Hurdle was ridiculously fast considering they went a visibly slow pace!
I think Sir Deschamps looks very good but that Last Instalment looks even better!
