corals have got 4 horses 7/1 and under for the gold cup already! Be suprised if theres that on the day! SDC as low as 5/1! Lovely horse with potential but he just won the grade 2 jewson and now 5's for the gold cup. wow
Simonsig 4/1 arkle looool!! Sprinter Sacre was 12/1, al ferof 10/1 the champ hurdle runner up was around 8/1.
Sprinter Sacre as low as 4/5. WTF!! Yes at the moment he looks head and shoulders above the rest but 4/5 come on you would think the bookies would give a ting bit away for a race 12 months away!!
It might have always been like this but i cant remember being this bad.
On a more positive note spirit son looks pretty big at 20/1 imo.

Anybody backing SS @ 4/5 should be sectioned.... If he'd won the Arkle by 25 lengths then fair enough but ffs.....
4/1 on Simonsig is disgraceful. Bookies were 10/1 the fav this time last year ( a champion hurdle runner up ). Awful. |

Glossy I agree. Anyway we have Fairyhouse, Aintree and Punchestown to occupy us for six weeks longer. Then have a good holiday and start thinking about jumpers sometime after that - then one has Christmas as well to look forward to! How many good horse failed to even make the festival this year. Sprinter Sacre is I believe a great horse but 4/5 anything at this stage is crazy. 4/5 against a horse making it there is probably just about about value.
