Not interested tbh the damp squib started with Hurricane Fly, moved onto Sizing Europe, Big Bucks the only glimmer of light, then Boston Bob setting it up for a poor Gold Cup. Not worth all the grief and lies from connections in the build up orthewait since last year.
Never thought I'd say this but roll on the flat had enough of the NH connections bullsh1t. |

The usual green and gold duck egg winners nobody does a thing about the ridiculous rides and form improvements when it matters, punters being shafted all over the place then it is rewarded with a Gold Cup winner. As I say I'm out.

eric he was rated officially 3rd best ,won a major gold cup trial and was an unexposed horse who had had only 8 chase runs ,some handicapper!

it's the same argument as "Al Ferof beat SS in the Supreme last year so should do so again"
It doesn't allow for improvement and after just a handful of runs the winner was entitled to improve. Was already a proven stayer. |

its a unique race that throws up crazy priced place horses
we have been spoiled with the class horses the last few years and this year we have witnessed a poor winner imo but hats off to connections and backers hopefully some of this years novices will come thro for next year |

Not a poor winner, just a normal winner! Same as last year. Same as most years until Kauto, Denman and Imperial Commander came along.

PMSL ![]() Eric backed all the obvious short priced favourites and crys when they lose - what a shrewd operator. ![]() As usual Eric my biggest bet of the year was on the going and I told everyone on here that the best bet I'd ever seen was the 7/2 on good ground - the race results were irrelevant after that came in, though I still won 3 out of the 4 days. ![]() ![]() |

Glad to see that Eric's taken it in such a sporting manner as usual

yes he might as well have said "must be shitt because I lost"

I underestimated the horses ability to go with them and hearty congratulations to connections. I hope it doesn't sound like sour grapes but had the race been run as it has in recent seasons then I think he would at best have been second.
