I think that skipping the Arkle, when it was the aim for so long, is a negative for this race.

Connections clearly lost some confidence in this horse after his defeat by Sprinter Sacre.

I don't think he would be running if he wasn't 100% and the yard is in brilliant form. Appreciate the problems post Kempton and lack of a recent run but I expect him to do well. Not a player, I'll just be watching.

yes i wouldnt want to be against peddlers yard in blistering form and given that sprinter has franked the kempton form and it didnt seem as tho peddlers run his race and but for the mistake at the 1st he may have been a lot closer to sprinter so in all probability he is a lot better than he has shown so far over fences !

I backed Cinders and Overturn, missed Flicka but I'm not missing this one. I backed him in 2010 and 2011 so can't stop now.

I suspect the horse will be given a rest till the start of next season. Looked very well but won 'best turned out' - kiss of death!!
