Looks to be some value around in this IMO. Salut Flo has been well supported, but David Pipes fancied horses have not quite achieved what was expected so far. Ferdy normally does well at this meeting but Divers looks too short a price as does Crack away Jack of Paul Nicholls who surely is the price he is on past performances rather than recent form - and has to prove he is over the injury he incurred in November.
I will be having a few quid on last years winner Holmwood Legend who looks like he has been laid out for this again, Fine Parchment who looks well handicapped and has course and distance form and lastly Gilbarry - who has been tried in Blinkers and Cheekpieces the last twice and now tries eyeshields. Jonjo has a winner and a runner up from 2 runners at Cheltenham so far this week.

I'd agree with that. I'm on Fine Parchment and he will go close if if repeats his Newbury performance. It's a big if, but at 33/1, I'm willing to take that risk!

Also think Fine Parchment has a squeak but I have a fancy for Mathui the ousider of the Pipe runners.Ran a cracker behind Calagary Bay last time out.Has 10ib claimer on board and I dont know if thats a good or a bad thing. Its much shorter that I expected on here and it may to a Pricewise horseSad

I had a look at Matuhi too Giddy. To be honest, I was a little put off by the 10lb claimer. Just think you need someone with a bit of experience at this place in a big field. A 3lb claimer I could live with but I think it might be pushing it at 10.

Thanks Glossy.Your probably right. If Pricewise does stick it up all the value will be gone anyway.Thought it would be at least 50's on here but 30's. Will swerve it. Good luck tomorow

You too.

15 of last 17 winners have carried less than 11 stone and the first 3 home for the past 3 years have been below 11 stone.  So I have concentrated towards the bottom end of the weights.

Niconefrankie should go well under a penalty and Venetia Williams has had 2 wins and 5 places from 12 runners in this race.  Took 10/1 available on that.

Also The Cockney Machem should enjoy this trip and runs off just 10-1.  The form when beaten a nose by Edgardo Sol and 3/4 length by Michael Flips (well ahead of Fistral Beach) looks solid form and 20/1 seems a good price.  Also been placed on all completed starts.

glossy am all over mathui

Check out the jockey 3/4 over chases for pipe this has been laid out seriously for this 25/1 is a massive price if it keeps getting bigger jsut back it a bit more ew

I thought Divers was well in with Hectors Choice, Fine Parchment and Mathui on a line through Calgary Bay in a race that has worked out very well. I do agree that Fine Parchment is overpriced though as may be more suited to this faster ground.

I think these four are decent bets in this for various reasons. All at decent value IMO.

Faasel
Fine Parchment
Fredo
Adams Island

I particularly fancy Fine Parchment who is consistent and capable of winning of these of thuis mark and Fredo who has a big handicap in him and he was staying on very well two races back, a stronger pace at Chelts could see him take the win.

I would not be surprised if Gilbarry arrived with Richie McLernon doing a Carberry.
