should ask forumites SWAGGER, APIECEOFCAKE and RED ADAIR what they think because they have known me from other forums for many, many years between them, rather than listening to some 10 post forum member

matters not a jot though

It's threads like this which reinforce why i rarely come on here anymore. The Judge used to regularly post on another forum i use, i've known him to be a very good judge of a horse, particularly in assessing a well handicapped horse. At times i haven't agreed with his opinion and vice versa, however I wouldn't start a thread about someone i disagreed with or didn't like - are we all 11 years old public school boys? Even if you don't agree with someone elses comments or they appear smug or whatever your beef is with them, why not just ignore them or construct an argument against said persons view you don't agree with as opposed to starting a pointless thread. Nonetheless best of luck tomorrow to all.

Clever Name - what's JR done to piss you off so much?

I have to concede he can seem a bit of a hard-arse but at least he nails his colours and gives the reasons why, whether we agree with it or not.

I think he posts a lot of common sense a vast majority of the time and if there's anything that gets on my tits...it's people who make 'cryptic' posts like yours!

Just spill whatever he's pissed you off with, so we don't all have to guess what you're on about Plain

As for JR's perceived 'arrogance'...I think he was bang on about Sprinter Sacre (though weren't most of us) and I'm sure he wouldn't have been in hiding if it had been nailed.

Nevertheless, he had the balls to say he was a cert as he saw it, and I hope he filled his boots.

Maybe JR is a tit Devil as I remember he got a bit pissed off with me when I suggested there was a long way to go for his beloved Valiramix when he tragically capsized two out in the Champion Hurdle, though all in all, I like most of what he posts, even though he fancies his chances of beating me up for daring to have a contrasting opinion! Laugh

He's also hot on Burton Port, though I'm too scared to tell him that if Long Run jumps in the same manner as he did in the race last year, he's only playing for place money Wink

OP is an utter moron for posting this. I've had 'discussions' with judo and he is very forthright in his views but knows his stuff. If you can't handle that, harden the f*** up.

all well and good to pull someone up for making mistakes clever name but you should do that on the threads if you don't agree with the poster...

judorick for what it is worth, as he doesn't need me to plug him is a very knowledgeable guy who spends a huge amount of time in the form book...

i don't agree with everything he says as i don't with a lot of posters who probably think the same about myself...but will tell him my thoughts and if we don't agree so be it, we learn, thats what racing is all about...

people should be kept honest and thats what i agree with, but at least do it on the threads and then we can make out whether you yourself are a judge and also helps the poster...judo is a good judge but if you don't agree with his posts just tell him, not in this manner, as is cheap...

will keep an eye on your posts clever name and I will judge you on that, not on this as think it isn't necessary...

read through a few of the threads on here and judge those if you want, some have made far more serious errors than judo has...but public hangings isn't necessary imo...judo nails himself to the mark and if you don't like it tell him with good argument...

be lucky all

Not saying he would have won of course but i really wanted to see him at the business end against SS and missed out on that, which was a big shame.

yes am not involved in the tennis at the mo thieves as haven't had time...dodged a bullet on nalbandian yesterday have to say...fell asleep which was a result...just shows you need to do your homework and i haven't for a few weeks been to busy...del po looking good again for sure...looking forward to staying up to watch the djoker tonight if he isn't on at a ridiculous hour...

yes same as me budd although lost on the supreme shame i listened to others on cinders as thought he was the best english novice a couple of months ago...live and learn

very tight today agree but although i have a price edge on bobs worth and sous le cieux not keen on either...so will be luck not judgment on them imo

think i will have a couple of pounds on call the police in the RSA think he has gone a tad under the radar at the price...horatio hornblower interests me in the bumper for future was very green first time in what i thought was the best bumper run this season...horrid day for punting but hope sizing can bring home the money...that will hurt if the great horse cannot do the business but he willPlain

ye shame you wait all year and get let down like that and i for one don't think he was done with...although think the small field was against the horse but can't legislate for that mistake...win some lose some but shame the race tore up like it did...peddlers, bog warrior and flemenstar were a few horses that would of added real substance to the form...as it happened sprinters got it quite easy because menorah has become a real disappointment and jumped like a show jumper and he was never challenged...this is the first year for me that the addition of other races has taken its toll on the proper races...arkle, rsa, neptune

read anything into Nina jumping ship tomorrow?? Thought she was jocked up!!
By:
harry callaghan
When: 14 Mar 12 12:24
yes a little disappointed zilzal but robbie is a good amateur...was really hoping she would be on and trainer wanted her to ride, as she knows the horse very well...she has been riding a bit for swan so maybe that is where her loyalty lies, don't know pal but do know she had the hump for being jocked off for the national last year and start me up would have a chance here, although isn't a great fencer...we will see, but the money is down and heres hoping robbie can do the business as am on heavy...

Harry - to be honest I rarely bet on tennis, love the sport and watch it for pleasure.

Shame BW and Flem didn't come over but guess it would have been too firm for them.  They will probably avoid the top 2 mile events next season, which is also a shame.  Flem looks to have a big future.  BW, was clearly unwell or injured on Sunday, I worry a bit for him he cannot afford any long lay offs as he is 8 already.  He may simply not be standing up to training, which would be sad.

ye agree thieves with bog warrior but maybe he is just a winter horse...time will tell with him but he can still win plenty of races on winter ground over there...this flemenstar looks the best irish novice i have seen...a real top notcher this but he also needs to prove he can go on better ground...time will tell but like him...shame because sprinter doesn't look like he will have to face a real good 2 miler except sizing but he will be 11 next year....

zilzal do me one favour don't back fassel keep your money in the satchel he ran his big race at donny and doubt he will reproduce...in fact do what you want as if the animal does win i won't be popularGrin

"should ask forumites SWAGGER, APIECEOFCAKE and RED ADAIR what they think"

I will tell you all what I think.

Firstly, let's get one thing straight. Judo certainly does not think he knows it all, he never has done.

I would say Judo has an enormous amount of self-belief, and that's one of the reasons he's got to where he is today.

He is also a man of honesty and integrity, and he trusts his own thoughts and instincts.

He spends endless hours, and has many sleepless nights, studying, and thinking about, racing.
And I think it's very generous of him that he shares his information with other people. He doesn't have to do this.

Of course it's up to them what they do with this information and if, and how, they act on it.

But I know there are many people who are very grateful to him for all his efforts.
And I also know, for a fact, that he has helped many people win a lot of money.
He is always happy to help others, and give advice, if only they care to ask.

I've been friends with Judo for a few years.
My life is very different today to what it would have been if I hadn't known him, and for this I owe him a lot.
He knows I feel like this but will take no credit for it.

I hope you're not annoyed with me when you read this, Judo, and I know you don't need anyone to fight your battles for you (especially a woman lol), but I wanted to say it.
