RoR possibly won it on merit, but it was a superb ride from Noel

Agree on Overturn, I couldn't believe nothing else in that field could pick him up

This is the obvious conclusion. An under par Fly and a poorly positioned Bino were too far back off what must have been a slowish pace. Yes the time was 3 secs or so faster than last year, I attribute this to quicker ground.

From jumping the 1st to the second last they were nearly 4 seconds faster to the supreme

It wasnt a slow pace, it was however quicker ground

I think for Overturn to get 2nd it has to have been theft, just my opinion. The Supreme was a stop start farce as well so no real tool for comparison.

BTW calling Overturn's 2nd "theft". This is a class horse that's underestimated no matter what he achieves, despite proving himself time and time again.

I agree. It isn't as if he sprung something new on the rest of the field. He set a decent pace, steadied it to get a breather near the top of the hill and ran on as he was always going to do. It is a disservice to the horse and rider to say he didn't deserve what he got. Those who rode Hurricane and particularly Binocular also got what they deserved on the day.

far from trouble"couldnt believe",reason for that,cos you know f**k all about racing,born to win,same comment,f all to do with position,zilzal,spot on,ground was the key factor,born to win 2nd comment,give up son,glossy,good comment,howdi,go back to sleep,glossy,fs,woke up!!!,good comment.
The ground rode very fast, look at the times of the 1st 5 races, hurricane fly stuffed, absolutely love it,totally over rated after last year and couldnt quicken on the GOOD TO FIRM going(dont believe everything you read in the papers)
Backed Overturn, trained differently this year, but you obviously didnt notice that!!!!even bigger shocks coming, watch this space.

absolute rubbish. I stated 2 months ago that overturn would come back better and was underated. Proved correct.

The ratings from yesterdays CH prove that too, a very strong renewal in the end, ran at a blistering pace that the supposed good thing in HF couldnt keep up with. Rock on Ruby stepped up a mark and proved another lot of people wrong.

National Hunt racing, particularly the Championships is not meant for ground like that. It produces freak results and more deaths, fact.

Well done Overturn backers you got lucky. Keep patting yourselves on the back, my record at the Championships over the years is excellent so I will not be losing confidence.
