Gutting for him to lead all 3miles round Chelts and get done 150 yards from home. Cracking ride too. That being said "they knew " about Alfie Spinner!

was tough roo, being such a big price (33 ante-post) made it harder. i thought he might be placed rather than win so i suppose i'd have taken that pre-race.

Me too - had my eye on it since it was withdrawn from the Racing UK Trophy or whatever its called now. Yes I got a nice return but a win would have meant a profitable Cheltenham whatever happens the next 3 days
