On Wednesday night PFN stated Dodging Bullets will go to Cheltenham along with Pearl Swan. He decided they could improve on his greenness from the Kempton debut.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. These previews are defo worth a watch though, and I love the phrase from Couch about Shadow Catcher: "He'll be travelling like the wrath of god"

Classic Money Tree.

it's the power of Pricewise....once Segal puts it up, the owner thinks he's got alive one and wondering why his idiot trainer isnt running...yup

Report Cash Is King March 10, 2012 12:19 AM GMT
Owners keen to run at Cheltenham but Pricewise vote sufficient to compel them to run at Festival rather than wait for Aintree where their runners have met with some success in past.
Report MONEY TREE March 10, 2012 1:28 AM GMT
I agree it should run at aintree just emailing PN now.
Report runj March 10, 2012 11:35 AM GMT
No decision made yet.  They think he's really tough and that might allow him to overcome his inexperience.
Report Hugh-Mongous March 10, 2012 4:50 PM GMT
MT - you may well be OK with this one, as listening between the lines, Nicholls much preferred Pearl Swan.
Report Tucho March 10, 2012 6:35 PM GMT
Nicholls preferred Sam Winner last year though, don't listen to a word he says.
Report Hugh-Mongous March 10, 2012 6:54 PM GMT
Tucho - I'm with you on that one, but hea all but conceded that Dodging Bullets had no chance!

So, looks like Money Tree had indeed dodged a bullet Wink

11-1 on here at the moment he may have no chance but someone's backing him? Feeling quite happy with my 33 now.  GL all
Report GoldCupWinner March 11, 2012 6:53 PM GMT
How can he have no chance? Finished 1 1/2 lengths behind one of the favourites on his hurdling debut despite pulling hard. Faster pace should suit and I think the track could suit more too.
Report SEATHESTARS....NO1 March 11, 2012 7:00 PM GMT
Wow, 11/1, i backed this before its debut at 40s with the theory in my head that nichols introduces his potential cheltenham horses in ability order i.e worst first best last and is also reason why i took 20s Dildar too WhoopsCry!

Do hope he does line up, fto he defo looked very useful and plenty of promise in that run to suggest he would/could come on leaps and bounds for it. Although i feel he probably cannot beat Grumeti it be no surprise to see him in the first 3!
Report solvingthepuzzle March 11, 2012 7:00 PM GMT
I was just echoing what the poster before me had said GCW, I think this horse'll come on a lot for that run & was no slouch on the flat. Beat Hisaabaat giving 7lbs, I think PN thought it would be too soon for him but looks like they've decided to give him his chance. Race looks wide open & you never know.  GL
Report duncan idaho March 11, 2012 10:01 PM GMT
11/1? there was £2 matched at 13.5 and 15 and nothing else less than 16.0 on here.
