anyone help me with how much a taxi will cost from airport to train station.i got bus last year and it took for ever.or anyone know best options.thanks

Checkers Cars run the airport taxis. If you go on their website, they'll give you a quote. Distance is 8 miles, so it shouldn't be any more than £20/25.

Taxi office straight out the front door after coming through arrivals. get the buses there too which are usually regular 20mins as each route goes to the station. £20-£25 or so taxi, single to station £7 or so, get a return for £11 or so to Train Station.

Presume you are going to Cheltenham from the airport : in that event I would suggest sharing a taxi from the airport to the racecourse direct with a few lads ( bound to be a few in your situation any morning next week ). I hooked up this way a few years ago and it didnt cost me more than 25/30 quid doing it this way - negotiate a fare with the taxi driver in advance and find fellow passengers in the taxi office but it beats the hell out of getting a connection to the Bristol train station and then on to the Cheltenham train station which is miles from the racecourse...

cheers lads,cheers stellar ill def be doing that as well..there 2 of us so hopefully bump into someone,was lucky enough last year to get cab back with few lads...in no rush to get there as going night before,but as u say if could meet people be a touch,all helps...
