2nd only to big bucks and sanctuaire(ground was soft).. .....sanctuaire got 16lb from GC that day for a 4L win.sanctuaire then ran out a 9L winner of the fred winter.
he has beat everything else put in front of him with alot in hand inhis last 9or10 starts.
pipe wouldnt even consider running GC in the gold cup if he didnt think he was up to it and as we all know he been thinking about it long enough.
GC is a class act and to my surprise he alot of peoples lay of the festival...

How far did he beat the 150 odd rated horses in the world hurdle last year and if you stop the tape rounding the home turn how far would you have expected him to beat them? His only chance of staying the gold cup trip is if he gets a lift to the top of the hill first time round.

EO,what are u trying to say about his world hurdle run last year? mourad was 3rd in the world hurdle,GC finished 3l ahead of mourad.mourad is a classy animal only beaten 5L or so to huricane fly(flat out) 3L behind Solwit.mourad ran quevega to 1L or so.
