INVICTUS, as short as 6-1 for Wednesday's RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, is a doubt to run after suffering a setback, trainer Alan King said on Thursday.
Owned by Kelvin Hughes, Invictus impressed when beating Bobs Worth by three lengths in the Grade 2 Reynoldstown Novices' Chase at Ascot last month.
Quoted on his website, King said: "We will monitor the situation over the next 24 hours, but, though I have confirmed the entry for the RSA Chase, Invictus has a problem and at this stage there has to be a doubt as to whether he would run. We will keep everybody informed."
Confirmations for the RSA Chase will be made around noon on Thursday

Nope 60 and 90 on here , got the race right but at least hedged the stake .

in all fairness i think king should be applauded in his transparency.
He reported that the triumph hurdle fav was lame earlier this week but hopeful of a full recovery and yet hes still fav for the race...hes never walked in the betting.
Its a shame if invictus doesnt make it to chelt as he was seriously impressive lto.
