The whole story about Tizzard trying to win it from the front in the RP is a misrepresentation of what he said imo. Just sounded like he was going to wind it up and keep SS honest. He isnt going to try and win it a million miles out like the RP quotes made it sound.

Ya was thinking that why would you go off like a train a set it up for SS, Saying that Joe Tizzard wouldn't be the most tactical astute pilot out there.

Just because he said he's gonna front run does not mean he will go off like the clappers,im pretty sure he will set a decent pace and try run the kick out of SS

the point im making is that sprinter sacre pulls hard and will end up taking up the running himself unless cue card goes 100mph
|
|
By:
again, just because SS pulls hard does not mean he will take up the running,if Geraghty let him go as fast as he wanted he'd run out of puff and wouldnt get home

look what happened last time sprinter sacre run...ended up taking the running cos everything else wasnt going quick enough, same thing will happen in the arkle

Agree with the original poster Cue Card doesn't jump well enough to lead. He actually loses ground on approach to the fences rather than attacking them - if he did chances are he would end up on the deck. Got a soft lead last time and was helped by the fall of Minella Class - that isn't going to happen again. Will need some fallers to even finish third.

Saw the interview on ATR and the one on Morning Line the day before the RP story and the interview was a lot more about applying pressure as the race went on, whereas the RP story made it sound like he was going to go hell for leather from miles out.
