david pipe = good for the sport (explained from Day One that Grand Crus may run in the RSA and may run in the Gold Cup = honest, open, nobody misled)

donald mccain = bad for the sport ( a series of misleading statements such as 11th Feb: "Donald McCain has revealed that Peddlers Cross will go straight for the Racing Post Arkle Chase, and will do so without the need of a prep run." - followed by "connections" laying peddlers cross massively and lining their own pockets, by switching races at the 11th hour)

I had horses trained at Pond House for many years and I can tell you they know how to pull some strokes

Agree with OP to an extent other than they know which race Grand Crus is going for or at the very least what circumstances would mean one race or the other - not that open imo

yes judorick - nothing wrong with "hatching a plot" or keeping information quiet - its all part of the game
but what mccain has done is misled people with FALSE information and that is not acceptable - especially as some people have profiteered from that false information
