I don't know but why would people free up money at those odds? If he was a cert non runner, someone would have put up a ton at 200-300 by now maybe the odd £2 between 400 - 1000 just like all the others

If the weather forecast is wrong and the ground turns up soft, then I think he'd run in the Supreme. Can't imagine any other circumstance though.

Well we now know he is going for the Neptune and an interesting comment on ATR from Henderson;
“I hope it is the right decision to run in the Neptune because it did look as though we ran out of stamina behind Fingal Bay at Sandown. If he stays they won’t beat him in the Neptune and if we’ve got it wrong then we’ve got it wrong.” |

Yup fully agree this horse is the place lay of the week! I intend to lay win and place and my stake for both with be the same so intend winning more if unplaced if that makes sense and i fully expect to collect on this one!
Cannot believe Hendo is now have 2nd thoughts about whether or not he has put him in the wrong race. Did he not watch the Sandown race back before making a decision or summat ! |

I think BG has had a big influence on this decision. When beaten by FB at Sandown, the jockey thought it was the ground more than anything else that beat him. Well it will be quick come Wednesday and he won the valuable bumper at Fairyhouse on good ground. They are where they are....he doesn't jump hurdles quickly enough for a championship race over 2 miles - another reason why they chose the Neptune - and really needs a fence.

doesnt really need a fence...should make a fine chaser but can also make a fine hurdler....thought his jumping was fine until Kelso, so it remains to be seen if that's an ongoing issue....be surprised if he's not swinging away 2 out, so layers better hold tight!

yes if you're gonna lay it, do so in running coz it is one of those that will glide along and the market often over reacts and shortens them up. I will take advantage and back it first then lay it back for an all round green. Why have red numbers showing?
