Cue Card pending Peddlers not running.

Menorah likes the course and wouldn't be a major surprise for me. Double figure price with PP with money back if SS wins
|
|
By:
Apart from one they are all outsiders

Agree Andy. If Menorah jumps better for the likely fast pace, he will be in the shake up. Big IF though

It's possible to make a case for Blackstairmountain running into a place @ 25/1 IMO. If you forgive the most recent race at Leopardstown on bottomless ground, the form stacks up reasonably well. The horse has won a Grade 1 chase - there won't be many Arkle contenders down the years who can say that and still be priced so generously.

Another vote for the second-best hurdler Menorah (Top if PC bails out). Classy hurdlers go well in this and he looks overpriced at 14/1 on here, especially with the Yogi factor!

I'm on Menorah with the PP offer. I am also of the school of thought that his jumping will improve for the faster pace with less time to ponder over the thought of it.
|
|
By:
Actually the more I think about it, the more I fancy Menorah
and not just from a value standpoint! |
|
By:
I make it a poor market with virtually no value anywhere.
Cue Card aith PP of course with the Sprinter Sacre offer is of some appeal but at 7s with three ahead of him in the market even that is tight IMO |
|
By:
I have put a few quid on Menorah at 10s with PP. Better prices available, but I really fancy SS to beat them all so worth doing with PP. SS too short for my stakes thats why I am looking for an alternative

Kid Cassidy might be a bit of ew value.

i was quite impressed by sanctuaire winning at taunton.looked like it had bolted but kept going right to the line if this takes the fav on race could be set up for al ferof/cue card

me too 2rivets but he's no longer amongst the entries.
|

By:
Kid Cassidy for me, if SS it is possible that henderson would be raving about this one instead.

* wasnt around

Surely Kid Cassidy will run in the Grand Annual off 10st 9lb rather than the Arkle?
|
|
By:
Menorah owes me nothing and I wish him well but best value, assuming we don't have a great flood and a surprise visit from Bog warrior, is Blackstairsmountain.
|
|
By:
I'd love for Kid Cassidy to run a big race after the terrible time he's had but can't see it myself. Was jumping to the right at Doncaster so unless that's been sorted, he will struggle at Chelt. Whilst similar jumping questions can be made about Menorah, you can't argue with his hurdling/Cheltenham record.

Said the same earlier in the thread thieves. Grade 1 winner a few months ago yet 25/1 going into Chelt. Doubt that's happened too often.

I'm actually a big fan of Menorah but can't see how he's better value than KC with the current market conditions. |

BSM likes the good ground glossy and has done a fast enough raceform time figure to be added to my RPR based shortlist (which is basically the top 4 in the betting this time round and BW if he should turn up). In fact only he and AF have done fast enough time figures to qualify by that angle.

By:
Certainly looks a viable alternative to the market leaders thieves. Already have a financial interest in Menorah but surely worth a bit of e/w on BSM. Might just have to get involved.

How many runners will there be on the day. There must be a doubt about having 8 or more runners now.

kid cassidy wont get an easy led tho, forget about him imo.
menorah is a good bet at the prices. poor jumping is factored in to his prices i guess but lapt chris wasnt without his jumping errors coming in to this last year. worth a pop imo. |
