Great place value at 6 ?

Absolutely. Been saying this for the last few weeks, was 40/1 2 weeks ago and 20/1 w/o HF last week when i got on. Its my biggest bet of the Festival so far and represent the greatest value. Can see it going off 12/1 or less on the day.
As you say there's no reason why he cant beat Binocular again after a break and performed admirably at Cheltenham last time against Granduoet who is now withdrawn. Still think he will come 2nd to HF, but the 20/1 w/o HF is exceptional and the 33/1 e/w is still decent. |

Have to disagree here, think it needs further over hurdles

Sorry, had to pop out.im a great fan of Overturn and he did me a great favour at Chester, but i cant see him here at all.
Firstly Binocular, i dont think you can judge him on his 1st time out efforts, this is the 3rd year running he's been well gubbed on his reappearance. secondly on that Granduoet run he has the Nicholls 3rd String Brampour right up his arse(gave 4lb) and ill be surprised if thats in the same county-Thirdly if PN runs Celestial he wont have an easy lead at all |

Couldn't touch it myself altho I am a fan of the horse. I think the Fly and at least 2 more will go past.
|

I agree that Overturn probably CAN go further but I don't think he needs it.
This is the same horse that stuffed Binocular easily FTO by 5 lengths! and did Celestial Halo in the same race by 20 lengths!! Anyway, he's running fresh again now so conditions will be as the Newcastle race and I believe the result will be repeated. |

Won in the Dark, Solwhit and Starluck have finished in front of Bino on his reappearance though in the last couple of years.
anyway best of luck |
|
By:
No Chance,he gets away with bullying inferior horses from the front, but he wont get away with it against Hurricane Fly and Co,
it's only gonna play into the hands of HF and Zarkandar, the faster he goes from the front the bigger the winning distance for HF |

He is an admirably tough front runner and will no doubt set a testing pace again, but it is hard to win egg and spoon races doing this let alone a Champion Hurdle. He has improved since last year but it is hard to imagine enough to place, and impossible (for me) to see him winning.
Others perhaps feel he could win which of course would make his price ew value. |

w/o Hurricane Fly gettign backed in, 20s all gone. 14s best now. Still think there's a bit of value there up to 10s.

cheers, thanks for coming.

Hold me hands up, got him totally wrong here, didnt crawl either
However zilzal1 07 Mar 12 13:05 We usually do one Not much Ante Post for me yet, the only bet ive had is ROCK ON RUBY ew in the "Without Hurricane Fly" Market @ 8-1 as i dont think there is a lot of depth in the race, i may take on the fav on the day with a cast as well Still studying hard ![]() |

I was shouting about Overturn's prospects in the race last year and I had him for massive money, after constantly backing & laying over many months.
He ran a half-decent race but I thought he was capable of better...I guess I picked the wrong year as he nearly pulled of a shock today, and that shocked me! |
