there is an old saying that goes"to see your future you must look to your past". i am afraid n. hendersons past record in this race makes for horror reading. 0 from 23 runners with only 2 finishing better than tenth in the last 22yrs. maybe this fellow breaks the mould but interesting stats just the same.

I dont have the stats Midas but how many 7 year olds were beaten favourites in the race. If you tell me that there were 8 or 10 in the last 20 years then I would pay attention to that. I can tell you that if Boston Bob is beaten in the Neptune it will not be because he is 7 years old.

Simonsig is shortening with most bookies (a lot have gone 5/1) for the supreme but he is drifting badly on here ????????? I give up!!

Very few fancied 7yo in the race in recent years, possibly less runners of that age since the introduction of the Albert?  Pretty sure French Holly was the last 7yo to be favourite.
