as we know the ground will be watered to produce g/s ground for the first day but could anyone tell me whether they will water after
the first day as the going gets quicker? cant remember what they did last year

I don't think they'll water the Old course (used Tue & Wed) after racing starts.
I believe they play it by ear on the New Course (thu & Fri), e.g. they may water that on Wednesday night, but they do not water during racing.

cheers, seem to remember official going g/s last yr but the times being pretty quick even on day one
