reckon bostons goes for the neptune now. Suits me fine as I've got Folsom Blue and Sea of Thunder for the AB.

If BB goes for Neptune Mount Benbulbens price will drop like a stone. I did say IF though. I dont believe those bookies ever sleep!

the annoying horse is sous le cieux if he wasn't in it we would know the answer...but although a few days ago i thought he was certain for the albert bartlett will this sway them???

WM always says that if you have a horse who is favourite for a Chelt race that is the one you go for. Irrespective of what happens to Fingal Bay I believe BB will be favourite no matter where he runs.

totally agree arkle and for me he will be 7-4 if contesting the albert bartlett which he should as he would be a shoe in...imo...but not sure now as sous le cieux still holds me back as thought they would happily take the win in the albert bartlett and sous le cieux has an ok chance in the neptune...very annoying but will he run both in the same race...for me sous le ciuex is a certain runner in the neptune.

Harry my angle was sorted before Fingal Bay may not run, Boston Bob 5s to win any race Sous Les Cieux 14s, have now backed Monksland at 14s with Badblokes as news was breaking re Fingal Bay.
Think Sous Le Cieux may go Supreme as Mullins stated earlier in season, think if anything Boston Bob may go Albert Bartlett, but if Fingal Bay not showing Neptune is more prestigous race to win.
Bad enough trying to get horse a correct race let alone back the winner, thats why Boston Bob wa the stand out at 5s a while back not sure what price now presume about 5/2?

Hope you are right, makes Albert Bartlett easier for Mount Benbulben to win, and Sous Les Cieux to go for Supreme would suit as well we all know is wide open.

Gone for Rocky Creek in the AB but may well cover with Mount Benbulben, think its between them 2 ...I'm also hoping that Simonsig goes in the supreme, like his chances over that trip..

Monksland for me too, even before Fingal injury news.

Having slept on it I wonder whether mullins will be keener to go for the albert bartlett with boston bob as sous le cieux will have an even better chance with fingal not running....

Bob defo go for AB, mullins knows he'd be nailed on to win and leaves him still a hand in the neptune

Think the horse King has is very good, King spoke very highly of him after his win lto, 14/1 ew value if Bob goes AB like I think plus Fingal out

CV if say G Wylie wants to run BB in the Neptune surely that is where he goes.

When: 24 Feb 12 14:11
On the likely good ground he should run Make Your Mark in the Neptune and Boston Bob in the AB.

Owners will let Mullins do what he thinks best,Mullins wants top trainer and he knows fly and quevega have theirs in the bag, he needs to put Bob where is is sure to win and thats the AB so he's on 3 then he needs one more to have it defo in the bag

They possibly might be more afraid of Mount Benbulben in the AB than anything in the Neptune.

Owner might decide this for Bob despit Mullins being best putting him in 3 miler as gives him another with a chance in Sous Les Chiux. Wait till nrnb anyway

Why would anyone ever think BB would run in 3 mile AB.On the track he has only run up to 2m 4f.Why would Mullins run him over another 1/2 mile when his best distance over hurdles is over 1/2 mile less?It makes no sense to expose him to a perverse result by meeting out and out stayers in the longer race.I'm totally confused as to why some otherwise sensible people on here are assuming Willie Mulins is off his rocker?

Can someone point me/us to the twitter account in question.

Have backed Mount Benbulben for the AB for a pretty sum so this is quite big news for me!
