Anyone actually know what the problem is? Hobbs on ATR Tuesday morning stated was all systems go for Neptune, not exactly those words.

Hamstring prob in one of its rear legs....he said 50/50 but was looking grim talking about it tonight ...

I can't imagine he'll run; contrary to what some have said I don't think this horse has got anything to prove, he doesn't need to win the Neptune, so why risk him if he's not 100% right. Stick him away and campaign him at the RSA next season - could be a very exciting staying chaser!

Won't run, owner has asked for the horse to be given every chance but the Hobbs team know they're just delaying the inevitable. Sad but he'll be back, cannot wait to see him chase next year! Got more than a touch of the Denman's about him for me!

How ironic that nearly 20 years after the mighty Carobee broke down beating Halkopous, that season's Supreme winner at Aintree, Mrs Skan is faced with this sort of bad luck with the best horse she has owned since. Jumnp racing is very tough and takes no prisoners, make no mistake.
