There are approx 40000 touts spread across Cheltenham selling tickets on the day. You will have no problems getting them on the day. |

ON THE DAY NO PROBLEM ANY SPORTS EVENT IN THIS COUNTRY YOU WILL NOT SEE HAS MANY TOUTS AS THERE IS AT CHELTENHAM GOLD CUP DAY. THIS YEAR MAY BE £20 PLUS FACE VALUE OTHER YEARS IVE BROUGHT THEM FOR LESS THAN FACE VALUE.

You can not walk to the course without passing 50 touts, all of whom will sell tickets for face or slightly more. I think the other guys on here saying upto £20 more would be about right.
If you buy from the first one you see it will probably be face+20 or if you shop about a bit maybe face. They get them off punters who have to many and offer peanuts, so they only need to sell at face or a bit more to make it well worthwhile. |

I say it every year but I detest the presence of touts and can't believe so many people encourage trading with them - the reason enclosures are sold out is because these scum have stacks of tickets they look to sell at a premium, if sport could get rid of touts then more tickets would be available to sports fans at face value. Plus there are always risks of counterfeit...
