Surely you wouldn't expect them to go best price NRNB ?
Report GI MAC February 19, 2012 5:26 PM GMT
Of course not. Just useful info to be aware of, in case they have a price up currently for a horse that someone may be thinking of backing.
Report willie the milk February 19, 2012 7:34 PM GMT
Well lets hope ALL the others follow suit
Report willie the milk February 19, 2012 7:48 PM GMT
How did you find this out G Mac?
Report GI MAC February 19, 2012 8:04 PM GMT
i emailed them willie
Report kavvie February 20, 2012 4:01 PM GMT
they nrnb on 4 races only?
Report ACStafford February 20, 2012 5:06 PM GMT
kavvie - yes, until Friday.
B365 usually go NRNB on all races from Racing Post Chase day, so a day early this year. Last year they were NRNB along with best price guaranteed. Hopefully they'll do it again this year.
Report roobuck February 20, 2012 5:11 PM GMT
i actually think this a very good concession - just a pity I can't take advantage this year
Report willie the milk February 21, 2012 7:40 PM GMT
Thanks GM

Sunderlands are NRNB on singles from 1st March.
Report bluebirdfan February 23, 2012 10:10 AM GMT
Bet365 leading the way, others will follow after the weekend. And of course they'll shortern each price at least a couple of points, ridiculous to suggest otherwise
Report theriddler February 24, 2012 8:22 AM GMT

Report stevo1 February 24, 2012 9:04 AM GMT

Katie W Hello, welcome to bet365 Live Chat. How may I help you?
John hi my account name is ******. Was just wondering when bet365 are going NRNB on all races at cheltenham?
Katie W At this stage other than the four we have already gone NRNB on we have not made a decision as to when the rest will go NRNB, I cant see it being too far in the future however as we are usually end of February start of March on this.
Report ACStafford February 24, 2012 11:28 AM GMT
Last couple of years its been Racing Post Chase day, so hopefully we'll see them do it tomorrow.

I was only joshing - I'm sure if they do decide when they are going nrnb on all races they will make a big song and dance about it in the media, so I was always a bit sceptical that a random punter (in this case you) had somehow got the exclusive.

Can't you sue B365 for loss of respectGrin
Report GI MAC February 24, 2012 4:35 PM GMT
No worries, however I'm deeply offended being called random.....
Report x20 February 24, 2012 6:06 PM GMT
They have cut all their prices so must be imminent for B365

A sea of blue in the Supreme, and the top four or five in the market in nearly every other race!

Looking through the prices now for the value (though they must be horses I quite fancy too).

First bet £100 @ 25/1 Tullamore Dew for the Willaim  Hill H'Cap (or whatever it's called these days )
Report jetodd February 24, 2012 9:52 PM GMT
I don't think 16/1 Divers will last too long. Also took some of the 10/1 Quantitativeeasing.

They are BOG too.
Report unclepuncle February 24, 2012 10:09 PM GMT
I had £100 Divers @ 16/1 and was lso tempted by Quantitaveeasing - though 12/1 elsewhere and I hate taking lower odds even if it is nrnb.
Report dtamutants February 24, 2012 10:14 PM GMT
I don't get what BOG means in terms of an antepost bet. So if the SP is longer than you get paid out at SP?
Report wellchief February 24, 2012 10:17 PM GMT
Yeah thats right dtm.

So UP has backed Divers now NRNB 16/1, but if he goes out to 18/1, he'll get 18's.

I think Billys started doing it a few years ago.  Very rarely will be price be bigger though after all the withdrawals.

Once they do NRNB you pretty much get the same terms as you would on the day with 365, except you don't get the Channel 4 4/1+ offer.
Report differentdrum February 24, 2012 10:41 PM GMT
I applaud the idea but they are just too short about too many horses - I suspect they will react to not taking much money (despite what they will say) and push them back out over the next few days. In general I suspect it is best to hold fire.
Report wellchief February 24, 2012 10:43 PM GMT

Do you mean Divers in the Byrne Plate over 2m5f @ 16/1 or the William Hill over 3m @ 16/1.

I think the 16/1 in the Byrne Plate NRNB is good value - they're still top price.  May have a fiver ew, not £100 on the nose though GrinGrin

Looking through the rest of their odds, I can't really see anything else I fancy.
Report wellchief February 24, 2012 10:45 PM GMT
Also, I think GI MAC is due an apology - he was right all along!!
Report The RealDeal February 25, 2012 6:05 AM GMT
I'm not a Minsk backer myself but 11/2 nrnb must be a lot better than 6/1 all in run or not.

If you do back Minsk this morning at 11/2 nrnb then much of the downside would be removed as a poor run this afters would mean him not turning up for the Triumph, a good win in the trial and you still keep the upside of a price tumble.
Report wellchief February 25, 2012 11:07 AM GMT
365 now go 12/1 NRNB Divers.

That's the reward you get for being a sad b@stard like me, and being on here at 22:43 on a Friday night LaughLaugh

I backed Divers for the Byrne Plate, and Tullamore Dew for the William Hill on the Tuesday.

I fully intend to lay them off nearer the time and just have a nice free bet running for me. Do it every year once nrnb comes in, and use my 'skill and judgement' to forecast which horses are going to shorten. Had some fantastic positions last year but sadly none of them wonCry. Hopefully I'll get a fe winners this year.

The only thing I actually risk seriously big money on is the going marketShocked
