how is Darlan after that horror fall? has NH said that he is ok? he was travelling great up to that moment

a bit sore with brusing but nothing serious. Don't throw away your voucher for Cheltenham, but more likely to go for aintree now where the track will play more to his strengths.

I have heard also about Darlan....not anyone connected, but usually a very reliable source. Said that Darlan is absolutely fine and that the Supreme is still the plan....??..I wonder why NJH has not said anything about him....usually connections like to come out and say if the horse is ok after a fall like that

Given the speed with which Spirit Son was laid on here from the same yard, it's probably safe to say that Darlan is not deffo missing the festival at this stage :)

If the owner was anybody else then the talk already might be about Aintree. Think JP will be very keen to run at Cheltenham if at all possible

Like i said, don't throw away your Cheltemham voucher yet, but they won't risk such a talented horse if he isn't 100% for the supreme.
I'm also on at 20-1 so it's not pocket talking, but they need to gauge his confidence after such a nasty fall, and as he's on the "easy" list for a little while, it will take time to find that out. |

I have 32's on this horse placed 15th Nov after reading an interesting write up on the OLBG site. I agree with Wannamaker the silence is encouraging but have placed a saver on Tetlami in case the horse doesn't run. GL all.

Was at Newbury last week and this horse was absolutely cantoring at the time. Glad to hear Darlan is okay as he looked a real prospect last week. I have no interest financially but would be interested if he became a confirmed runner.
