I don't think the horse enjoys these small field novice chases. he's always been a better horse in decent sized fields where he is covered up.

Might sound crazy at first but the big field and faster speed of a race like the Arkle could actually help Menorah's jumping. Can't help feeling that sometimes, these minuscule fields don't help some horses - giving them too much time to think about what's ahead of them rather than being automatic.
Just a thought. |

Worth a try as he's up against it in the Arkle even assuming he's gets round. The horse hasn't run a good race over hurdles or fences for at least 14 months.

Yeh think its worth a shot as think he isn't performing to the same high level he was...personally if he doesn't put them on he cannot win for me...
but headgear can work the oracle with some and is something I like with types like him...just might perk him up and make him concentrate.... |

anyone heard anything on menorah at any of the preview nights???

its time to put something on menorah.... maybe a diferent jockey...

|
By:

mark even

By:
he is yes but theyve had 5 opportunitys to get another jockey on the horse, sometimes thats all they need to concentrate...

Finians Rainbow couldn't jump this time last year...! He did alright in the Arkle!

they have nothing to loose, sometimes when trainers do this they wait for the big day so you might see them on at cheltenham
