everyone has told their hard luck stories were they thought they were on a winner then got beat. now what about picking a horse then changing your mind only for your 1st choice to go and win. my worst one was last year in the coral cup when i was always picking carlito brigante then changed my mind and done for non stop. for non stop falls and guess who went and hossed up? yep carlito!! dirty b***ard again!! lol.

i did it with pigeon island in the last race on the friday a couple of years back. everything pointed to it winning and i changed my mind 5 minutes before the off. then the pigeon went and battled its way to a 16/1 win.
Did exact same Jonty. All the trends pointed to that. Even worse was that I had pulled it out of a yankee as well. Soldatino, Baby Run and Imperial Commander all came in. Would have clicked for over 50 k. Was till well up on the day though.
my problem minty, was that i was more concerned with getting another pint in the guinness village before the race!

Indeed Zealot I have had some success with 3 selections from 2 races, 9 x ew doubles or win doubles if you confident... it can be amazing how badly you can still do with 3 darts as well tho 
Should have but the only race I ever back more than 1 horse in is the Grand national. Hard to get a winner in the h'cap races so I just study the race stats etc and hope I got it right. I think last year the only stat that carlito failed on wad that he hadn't won at that trip but Elliot said he fancied it. Hindsight is a great thing.
