jud- is rubi light not runnning in the ryanair like?
By:
The ground officially described as "good to soft" on day one.
By:
so what if he is denman?
By:
only one winner, rubi light wins this race
By:
Very true saxon - generally about 4/6 and worth having as much as you can on it!!!
By:
we can argue all you want - I can't have Rubi Light at all at the Festival and 14/1 GE will do me nicely. Proven at Cheltenham, on the going, and the Festival.

dunno how u cant havi rub light, prb best chaser over 2m4/2m5, onlybeaten 3 length last year, and has imroved massively since then, would of beat sizing europe at gowran had he no fell, last race over 3 m was to far, i think he got a serious chance

Judo,
Wheres the form that gives GE a good chance of winning the Ryanair. Poquelin stuffs him at levels from what i can see,and Poquelin falls short at this event. |
By:
budd- ive just told u wha wins this race, take note.....
By:
Yeh,hes a fair chance, but personally if Albetas turns up i think he will win it again, otherwise i feel Kauto Stone is the one.

rubi was only on 7th chase start when should of beat alberats in this last yr, wud of if he didnt walk through 3 out, would of walked all over sizing at gowran if never fell/ remounted, i no few if and buts, i think this horse is class act and cudnt see how albertas coudl get near him now
By:
Albertas loves Cheltenham,in particular this race, and he looked at least as good this season before his injury. If they can get him back see no reason why he cant win again.
You may be right with Rubi Light, but no way should you be dismissing AR imo,but up to you mate. |

festival naps
tuesday- al ferof ( although HF and Quevega have reasonable chances!) wednesday- sizing europe thursday- rubi light friday- long run |
By:
Come on the RUN. Alberta's that is, really don't see Hurricane Run winning.
By:
Agree with Denman, Rubi Light is the best bet of the meeting
By:
ahhh finally we get sense!

Sprinter Sacre 6/1
Bucksy 4/5 NRNB Bucksy 4/6 Hurricane Fly 9/4 double I suppose these are my 'naps'. I believe SS to be something special which incidentally is also 'SS' ![]() As long as Bucksy does the biz I shouldn't be losing on the week, if he doesn't well I will die of shock so won't be a problem. |

By:
Medermit at the prices - Rynair.
By:
Invicutus for the grade 2 Jewson. He is on for the Plumpton £50k bonus when he wins at the Festival!
By:
Quevega 5/4 is the craziest price I've seen for many a festival - the mare is 2 stone better than any other mare in racing, she is a certainty to go for the race and Voler la Vadette and Unaccompanied (2nd and 3rd favs) are very unlikely to take on Quevega, she should be 1/2, the fact you can back her at odds against is a shock.
May not be the most exciting bet in the world but whatever bets you're having on the festival over the next few days just double up with Quevega for a price push, Long Run becomes about 6/1, hurricane Fly becomes about 9/4 etc etc etc |
By:
^^^ ive thought that for 2 years and never let me down but she does seem fragile.
By:
Don't think she's that fragile Howdi, she just prefers Spring ground and can only really take 2 or 3 runs a year - looking how fit Mullins got HF before yesterday I'll have no sleepless night worrying about Quevega making March fit.
She made a farce of last years festival IMO, 10 lengths on the bridle ? And last years race was a better renewal, this year the competition are made up of 135 handicappers.... |
By:
Simonsig has a cracking chance for me. Otherwise I totally agree with putting quevega in with anything else you fancy. BB might be troubled by OW, you never know. The Fly might be troubled by zarkander. but nothing comes near quevega

BJG knows had little breeze round Cheltenham Saturday over nearly one mile short of his intended target on at 16s e/w.
Also i know this horse bit ridiculed a liitle on here but Quito De La Roque on at 40s e/w, and 16s without big 2 e/w. But he has to beat Synochronised next time up in couple of weeks, which i expect to do. |
